I am a Senior ML & Neural Scientist at Atlas, where we are building a consumer-focused multi-modal brain sensing wearable, to help people understand and improve their brain health and performance.
Before this I was a Senior Research Scientist (Research Associate Professor) in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow, where I maintain an honorary affiliation. My PhD is in Compuatational Neuroscience and my research involves applying statistics, information theory and machine learning to data from electrophysiology, neuroimaging (EEG, MEG, fMRI) and behavioural experiments.
I have also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Fab AI where I contributed to the AI-for-Education initiative. My work here included developing benchmarks of large vision and language models for educational applications.
